An expert partner for intelligent products
In our product development activities, we support our customers in designing extrusion and LSR moulded parts from the first sketch to the series-ready product, providing expert advice on all technical issues.
We develop component elements using standard CAD programs such as CATIA V5 and Siemens 1973 and provide them to our customers via a communications server.
FEM and CFD simulations can also be performed within the group. And we are happy to provide water-jet cut samples for initial installation trials.
To ensure the consistently high quality of our products, Poppe uses quality assurance methods such as FMEA at an early stage as part of advanced product quality planning (APQP). All of this takes place within a lively and efficient product development process.
We have the right material for your application
Our expertise and experience with elastomer materials covers the entire range of different rubber types. Thanks to the dedicated material development facility at our Gießen site, which is home to all of the essential equipment and techniques for determining material properties, we can meet your specific material requirements in a targeted manner.
Besides the individual material development, we produce the material LSR (Liquid Silicon Rubber) in Gelnhausen. Due to its unique material features, it is useable for differnet kind of requirements.
Test composites are produced using our own laboratory kneader and laboratory mill. This allows us to develop elastomer composites and products in line with the requirements of the market and optimize them for our manufacturing processes. We can offer extensive testing services in close cooperation with our fellow subsidiary Veritas AG. We offer sample plates to customers who wish to conduct their own tests.
